Hi there! A little bit about my art.........

......For me, painting is both a passion and a challenge.

I’m not the type of artist who is content with producing endless adaptations of similar images.

Each of my paintings seeks a different form of dialogue with you. For example, in the Satire and Cynicism collection, I endeavour to give voice to important issues (for me, at least!)

Other times, I try to use the brush strokes as an invitation, tempting you into the beauty which surrounds us (but which we often miss because we’re just too preoccupied.)

In my Landscapes collection, that beauty originates from Australia’s rugged hills, endless skies and tropical beaches.

And then, in complete contrast, there are the Studies of People. Those started off with images which pulled the legs of certain friends, but then expanded into humans in unique situations. (We really are fascinating creatures!)

I won’t ramble on. I just want to say that through my art I hope to share a connection that invites you to pause, reflect, and feel happier.
