My first trip to fascinating Myanmar. There she sat at the Shwedagon Pagoda, unperturbed by the throngs of tourists and worshippers. No gimmick. No beggar’s cap. Just praying for praying’s sake. Her calmness transcended to her cat in her lap. (The kitten was my indulgence; added afterwards to balance the image.)
